This is a guided fasting retreat in nature held in a supportive, ceremonial setting. The retreat is rooted in ancestral practices and focuses on reflection, simplicity, and connection with nature, fire, and community. It is a non-medical, experiential retreat.
Is this a water fasting retreat?

Do I need previous fasting experience?
No previous fasting experience is required. This retreat is suitable for first-time fasters as well as those who have fasted before. The process is guided slowly and held within a supportive group environment.
Is this retreat safe?
The retreat is designed as a non-medical, ceremonial experience. Participants are held within a structured, calm, and attentive environment with experienced facilitators, clear boundaries, and daily check-ins. Safety guidelines and informed consent are shared before the retreat begins.
Is this a medical or health retreat?
No. This retreat does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Fasting is offered as a traditional, experiential practice for reflection, awareness, and connection, not as a medical intervention.
What if I feel I need to stop fasting?
You are always encouraged to listen to your body. Breaking the fast is respected and supported if needed. The retreat container is based on care, not endurance or pressure.
What ceremonies are included?
The retreat includes opening and closing Temazcal (sweat lodge) ceremonies, fire tending, moments of silence, and optional ceremonial practices such as cacao sharing. All activities are offered with respect and care, and participation is always a choice.
Where does the retreat take place?
The retreat is held in a natural rural setting in the UK, hosted by Inti & Waira House. Full location details and arrival information are shared after booking.

How many people will attend?
