Booking, Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Inti & Waira House, every retreat and event is carefully prepared with love, intention, and respect for everyone attending. When you reserve your place, we immediately begin planning the event, purchasing materials, preparing food, coordinating facilitators, and keeping your space exclusively for you.

For this reason, we kindly ask that you read and understand our cancellation policy before booking.

Deposits

All deposits are non-refundable. Your deposit secures your place and covers administration, planning, venue preparation, and the time invested in organising the event.

Cancellations

  • If you cancel more than 21 days before the event, any balance paid (excluding the deposit) may be transferred to a future Inti & Waira House event, subject to availability.

  • If you cancel within 21 days of the event, we are generally unable to offer a refund, as preparations and commitments have already been made.

  • If you cancel within 7 days of the event or do not attend, the full booking fee will normally be non-refundable.

Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that genuine emergencies can happen. If you are unable to attend due to serious illness, family emergency, or other exceptional circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible. While refunds cannot be guaranteed, we will always do our best to find a fair and compassionate solution, such as transferring your booking to another retreat where possible.

Transferring Your Place

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your booking to another person, provided you notify us in advance and we approve the change.

Event Cancellation

In the unlikely event that Inti & Waira House needs to cancel or postpone an event, participants will be offered either:

  • a full refund, or

  • the option to transfer their booking to a future event.

Our Commitment

Our work is community-led and organised on a small scale. Every booking helps us prepare the space, support facilitators, purchase materials, and create a meaningful experience for everyone attending. Our cancellation policy is designed not only to protect our work but also to honour the commitment made by everyone involved.
